Hyaluronic acid is a gel-like water holding molecule produced naturally by the body that helps keep skin plump and hydrated.
The No Needle Injection System
Hii Pen is a non-invasive tool that delivers precise quantities of filler into the skin by air pressure and not via a hypodermic needle or cannula, for a much more comfortable, stress-free and safer procedure. The needle free technology employed has been utilised in healthcare for decades and has been a growing trend in aesthetic treatments across Europe over the past few years.
What to Expect
Your appointment will start with a consultation where we will discuss what you would like to achieve, carry out an examination and decide on a treatment plan. Clients liken the feel of the Hii Pen to flicking the skin with a fingernail. Healing time is usually less than with needle injected procedures, and our fillers contain a numbing agent to increase post-treatment comfort.
How Much Filler will You Need?
Together we will decide on the appropriate amount of product needed to produce your desired result, but as a general guide 1ml is sufficient for a first treatment to give you natural looking volumised lips or to fill medium depth smile lines. 0.5ml will generally fill one lip if asymmetry correction is required, or small marionette lines.
When you return for your free follow up appointment after 2 weeks, we can top up with additional filler if it’s right for you.
Kinder
Whilst it is normal to experience some tenderness, swelling and slight bruising after receiving dermal fillers, it’s reduced by the use of the no needle procedure, leading to a swifter healing time.
Safer
We use only high quality Croma and Revolax products, chosen for their consistent, natural looking results and durability. They contain 23-24% Hyalauronic Acid, 3% Lidocaine (a numbing agent) and saline gel.
As needles are not being introduced into the tissues, the normal risks associated with injectables are greatly reduced.
