What is Facial Cupping?

Facial Cupping is much more than a beauty therapy. Utilising gentle suction on the skin from a silicone facial cup, it increases blood flow to the skin and creates mini-trauma in the skin, which prompts a natural healing process. This triggers the production of collagen and elastin. Not only does it relax facial tension and provide lymphatic drainage, but can also help physical imbalances that manifest on our face. Incredibly relaxing, at the same time it tones the muscles and increases blood flow. This process stimulates the production of collagen and elastin which plump and tighten the face. The lymphatic drainage element removes puffiness and helps to clear the skin, producing a more even skin tone after just a few treatments.

What to Expect

Your Facial Cupping therapy will start with a series of gentle stretches to the shoulders and neck, followed by calming and relaxing scalp massage, and soothing double cleanse of the face using luxurious Temple Spa skincare products and hot towels.   A facial oil suitable for your needs is applied and an individually tailored facial cupping ritual carried out to address your areas of concern.  Treatment concludes with a tension releasing massage to the shoulders, neck and face, and cooling Jade Gua Sha and facial roller work to leave you feeling refreshed and renewed.
